ND Dept. of Health soon accepting patients for medical marijuana use

Bismarck, N.D. (Valley News Live) The North Dakota Department of Health will soon start accepting qualifying patients to receive medical marijuana.

You can fill out the application the morning of Monday, Oct. 29.

Applicants may request assistance in completing the online application from trusted family members or friends, however, caution is advised as social security numbers are a required by state law to be part of the application.

Individuals interested in becoming a registered designated caregiver are required by state law to have a criminal history record check completed upon initial application and every two years thereafter.

The Division of Medical Marijuana’s website includes information for designated caregivers on how to obtain a criminal history record check.
